Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Leeds CAB. Volunteering can be hugely rewarding. As well as helping people from your community, many volunteers gain valuable skills and go on to find employment in the advice sector.

Are you looking for a new challenge, to learn new skills and use the skills and experience you have to make a difference? This could be the opportunity you have been looking for.

We have an exciting new project to extend our telephone advice services. To do this we need more volunteer Receptionists, Gateway Assessors and Advisers.

What we offer:

- Full training through group sessions, observation, coaching & self study

- A friendly environment that recognises & values the skills & contribution of volunteers

We run a number of group training programmes for both trainee Advisers and Gateway Assessors throughout year and recruit for these on an ongoing basis. Applications for other roles are considered on an ongoing basis as required.

We are recruiting for our next courses starting:

Adviser February 2012
Reception and Gateway Assessor January and February 2012
